Summer’s love

The second screenshot is about the expectation vs the reality faced by Tom. It shows us how Tom is still hoping for Summer’s love even though they had broken up. The screen is split into two also. From this split, we can see what’s inside Tom’s mind. Tom thinks that Summer invited him in a private party, but the reality is not. Even it is not only a common house party. It is an engagement party. This split gives us hints that Tom is naïve. He expects Summer to restart their relationship all over again.
